A worked example
€12,000 at zero interest over 24 payments of €500 plus a €240 fee totals €12,240. Thirty payments of €400 plus a €600 fee totals €12,600 despite the lower repayment.
How it is calculated
Both options use the same principal. The total adds all fixed monthly repayments and the entered upfront fee.
Common mistakes and limitations
